List of Famous People

At top 100 Famous People of twentieth Century I have listed 100 famous people.

Of course, there is an endless debate we could have over who is most famous person. The list reflects a largely Anglo-Saxon viewpoint. But, I this can be justified in the sense that most movies and literature are in English.

Despite having a list of 100 famous people, there are many notable omissions, including

  • Mae West,
  • Whoopi Goldberg
  • C. G. Jung
  • Henri Mancini
  • Jack Nicholson
  • Fred Astaire
  • Eddie Murphy
  • Jimmy Conners
  • Henry A. Kissinger
  • Yogi Berra
  • Dan Rather
  • Ervin "Magic" Johnson
  • Neil Armstrong
  • Dwight Eisenhower
  • Miles Davis

Isaac Newton and Carl Sagan should be on the list.
Also, Neil Armstrong wasn't the first person to land on the Moon, he was the first person to STEP on the Moon. Him and Buzz Aldrin landed on the Moon at the same time.
